The Problem:
Next to funding, the most powerful asset we may rely on will be internet for Marketing, Communications, organizational control, record keeping and data security.
Because we are all in a hurry and need it now, perhaps we need our own central team.
Facts & Assumptions:
- We need software and trained support yesterday.
- We have many software systems that need to communicate with each other in a secure manner.
Example: We need to sweep the main Federal public website daily to sort out new members and deliver that data to each state so their software can reach out to those new members. This may become quite complex if each state has differing platforms to receive and process. Standardization is called for to simplify. - IT costs can be drastically cut by in-house pros. We can insure that we are their number one Priority.
- We have redundancy in back-ups if we lose a team member.
- We will need continuous training as we grow and an in-house support group.
- They can define their scope of responsibility better than we can here!
- Every Republic will require at least 3 software systems to begin:
A Public Websire, Management Website and Accounting systems.
Plan:
- Establish a Non-Profit Corporation as outlined in Proposal #103.
- Hire current members of the Republic to work as a group to create, install, train and secure most computer needs.
- They can beef up personnel as they deem necessary without going through Congress.

Pros:
– They are already trained and vetted.
– They already know our needs.
– Gets us the software a start-up Republic needs that is not on the market as such.
– They can be treated as Teir 1 workers if necessary.
– We can offer them Golden Parachutes if need be.
– They can be phased out after Republic Funding is received.
