PROPOSAL – For The Re-Inhabited Republic For Florida

TO: Honorable MICHAEL BISHOP, Governor, Florida
From: Jim Costa
Date: August 8, 2024

The Problem:

The Republic(s) are moving fast and in some new territory.

Cowboys wore side irons for a reason – they never knew when they might be needed.

Facts & Assumptions:
  1. I am a medium Paralegal, not an attorney.

I assume I am currently the only Legal advisor in-house at this time that can speak their language.

Attorneys only make money when you step in it and they charge you for the shoe cleaning.

The don’t know when you are about to step in it.

In some areas we are stepping into areas new to me in starting a government.

  2. If I am “It” and we wish to replicate some legal work to cover all 50 states, that may be a heavy work load for me alone. It may require a law firm or another volunteer or paid Paralegal.

  3. Now may be the time to seek out a law firm big enough to give us fast turnaround time as well as float us credit for 4 to 6 months.

  4. Levin / Papentonio Law firm is in Penscola, Fla.

It’s senior partner, Mike Papantonio, was the lead counsel in 1992 in the first successful lawsuit against Big Tobacco for causing cancer.

They have the manpower a deep pocket and can give us time delayed credit.

Mike would kill at this time in his life to get another national trophy.

    Per Wikapedia:

“The law firm’s most controversial act occurred in 1993 when it rewrote a Florida statute that allowed the state of Florida to sue the Tobacco Industry, and then orchestrated its passage through the state legislature.[7] After the law was upheld by the US Supreme Court, the Tobacco Industry settled with Florida for an unprecedented $13 billion. The secretive legal maneuvering became part of the national debate on whether personal injury law was negatively impacting the American business environment, including a July 2000 article in Time magazine titled “Are Lawyers Running America?” that included a photo of Fred Levin wearing a red blazer and sunglasses and leaning on a vintage Rolls-Royce.[8]” Source

  5. Some members may be apposed to using a BAR attorney as they owe allegiance to England.

However, If attorneys see where things are headed, they will be fearful of their careers and already have a plan to resign the BAR and create an an American Society of Attorneys, similar to what CPA and Doctors do.

Plan:
  1. F ind a current attorney as a member now on deferred payment to represent us.

That member can then locate a local firm near him as his back-up.

  2. Allow this author to approach a nationally known large law firm local to him (Pensacola Fla.) to be ready to serve if needed.

  3. Use only a non-BAR attorney only.

Pros & Cons

Costs: Up front – ZIP

Pros:
– Option 1 is the best because he can attend some meetings to be aware of where we are about to step.

– Warm fuzzy feeling knowing there is someone in the warm-up pit.

– Later we can throttle down the outside law firm if an attorney later joins us as in-house legal officer.

Cons:
– Attorneys are are the worst over-protective mothers on earth.

– They are trained to over protect. They become expensive and time delaying.

– The Republic may be apposed to using a BARed Attorney because of their allegiance to the CABAL.

Action Requested From the Governor:

  1. You Pick.
  2. Caused to happen.
