What is the Florida Republic?

The Florida Republic is a grassroots effort by Florida citizens to restore lawful, constitutional self-governance at the county level. It operates under the principle that sovereign power resides with the people — not with corporations, political parties, or federal agencies.

The Assembly model traces its roots to the original republican form of government established by the Founders. Each county elects its own Assembly, which serves as the lawful governing body for that county's inhabitants. The Assembly handles matters of public record, common law, and the protection of unalienable rights.

Florida has 67 counties, and the goal is to seat a functioning Assembly in every one of them. When enough counties are organized and populated with informed, active members, the Florida Republic can operate as a fully functioning parallel government — ready to step in the moment the Announcement is made.
